The Software Development Centre (SDC) is a student-driven initiative focused on fostering technical skills, collaboration, and real-world software development experience.

2. How to Join

Eligibility: Open to all MUJ students (any year/branch).

Steps:

  1. Register: Fill out this form, or fill one of the forms attached in emails circulated on your MUJ email addresses on a regular basis.
  2. Selection: Appear for the selection process, usually an interview
  3. Orientation: If you're reading this wiki, you're probably on that step here! Welcome!

3. First Steps

Once registered:

  • Set Up Profiles:
    • Join SDC GitHub Organization (Contact DevOps Team for the same)
    • Join the SDC WhatsApp group (link provided after selection).
  • Explore Projects:
    • Browse active projects on our GitHub Organization.
    • Check the good-first-issue labels for beginner-friendly tasks.

    • Git/GitHub, VS Code, Docker, Figma, VPS

6. Contribution Guidelines

  • Projects:
    • Fork the repository → work on your branch → submit a pull request (PR).
    • Tag a maintainer for PR reviews.
    • Once reviewed and approved, tag DevOps Team for deployment.
